Resumo

O presente trabalho teve o objetivo primordial de analisar compreensivamente o uso da literatura como elemento de mediação no processo ensino-aprendizagem da Astronomia, mediada pela Tertúlia Literária Dialógica e outras fontes de leitura. Além disso, promover o ensino-aprendizado da Astronomia em espaços formais da educação, especificamente, na Educação Básica usando como elemento de mediação a literatura em suas diferentes formas de expressão, mas com uma ênfase especial na atividade da Tertúlia Literária Dialógica haja vista, ser esta ainda, pouco conhecida nos meios educacionais como possibilidade educativa e formativa. Além da atividade de Tertúlia com um livro que teve a Astronomia como centralidade, foram realizadas outras atividades mediadas por gêneros literários como: histórias em quadrinhos, cordel, poemas, letras de músicas e vídeos. Para fundamentar teoricamente esse trabalho buscamos subsídios em autores como Matuí (1995), Rêgo (1995), Beyer (1996) Mello (2003), Giroto e Mello (2007) entre outros. A metodologia de pesquisa adotada sustenta-se na abordagem qualitativa pela natureza do objeto investigado. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram estudantes do 6° ano do Ensino Fundamental II. O contexto onde as ações de pesquisa foram desenvolvidas foi o Colégio Estadual Juiz Jorge Faria Góes, escola de educação de tempo integral, localizada no município de Feira de Santana, lócus de atuação como professor de Ciências. O percurso de pesquisa escolhido consistiu na realização de atividades tendo a literatura como instrumento de mediação para o ensino-aprendizagem da Astronomia e compreendeu a realização da Tertúlia Literária Dialógica, com o livro “A Reunião dos Planetas”, e outras fontes de leitura, envolvendo cordel, letras de músicas e histórias em quadrinhos. Durante a realização das atividades realizamos observação participante das próprias situações didáticas, aplicando atividades e realizando registros em caderno de campo. Além disso, foi aplicado um questionário com perguntas fechadas e abertas aos estudantes do grupo pesquisado. Como produto educacional vinculado a esta pesquisa, propomos a construção de um Caderno Pedagógico, com orientações didáticas para elaboração de Tertúlias Literárias.

Abstract

TEACHING ASTRONOMY THROUGH LITERATURE: AN ANALYSIS OF DIALOGIC LITERARY GATHERING AND OTHER READING SOURCES

The present work had the primary objective of comprehensively analyzing the use of literature as an element of mediation in the teaching-learning process of Astronomy, mediated by the Dialogue Literary Tertúlia and other sources of reading. In addition, to promote the teaching-learning of Astronomy in formal spaces of education, specifically in Basic Education using as an element of mediation the literature in its different forms of expression, but with a special emphasis on the activity of the Dialogue Literary Tertúlia it was still little known in educational environments as an educational and formative possibility. In addition to the activity of Tertúlia with the book that have Astronomy as a centrality, other activities mediated by literary genres such as comic books, string, poems, lyrics and videos were performed. In order to provide a theoretical basis for this work, we sought the support of authors like Matuí (1995), Rêgo (1995), Beyer (1996) Mello (2003), Giroto y Mello (2007) and others. The research methodology adopted was based on the qualitative approach by the nature of the investigated object. The subjects of the research were students of the 6th grade of Elementary School II. The context where the research actions were developed was the Jorge Faria Góes State School, a full-time education school, located in the municipality of Feira de Santana, as a science teacher. The chosen research route consists of the accomplishment of activities having the literature as instrument of mediation for the teaching-learning of Astronomy and comprises the accomplishment of the Dialogical Literary Tertúlias, with the book "The Meeting of the Planets", and other sources of reading, involving string, lyrics and comics. During the activities we was doing participant observation of the didactic situations, applying activities and making records in the field. In addition, a questionnaire was applied with questions closed and opened to the students of the research group. As an educational product made to this research, we propose the construction of a Pedagogical Notebook, with didactic guidelines for the elaboration of Literary Tertúlias.
